This group of photos is focused on famous Shorthorn cows from 1900-1980, and also includes many photos that show Shorthorns in different farm and show settings. As time permits we hope to add many other historical photos that show the powerful influence Shorthorns had on the cattle industry and show why they were once the most popular cattle breed in the world and the basis for most of the “New World” cattle breeds.
